1.
Opening an order? Minimum orders? Case discounts?
Our minimum opening order is 1. Our minimum reorder is 1. We’re
in business for designers and workrooms. Usually you’re ordering
on a “per client/specific project” basis. The best use
of your own space is probably not for storage of plump and poufy
pillows and duvets. However, if you need a multiple number of the
same SKU, the 10% case lot discount will apply as follows:
•
pillow sizes up to and including 18” x 18” 12 = case
all other pillow sizes, bolsters, cubes, pyramids, balls & boxed
•
squares 8 = case
•
sleeping pillows, down blankets, duvets, down/featherbeds 6 = case
Case discounts do not apply to the 95/5 top
ten collection

Terms?
Your first order will be credit card, C.O.D. or Pro Forma. We accept
Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Pro forma orders
will cancel if your check is not received within 14 days of our
faxed invoice/confirmation. After the first order, your account
will become Net 10 days. A reminder notice will be sent for any
invoice over 30 days past due. If this doesn’t produce payment,
friendly - but persistent - calls from one of us will follow. We
will keep your credit card information on file and, at your request,
automatically charge every order. Or, you can choose between credit
card or net 10 invoicing at the time you place each order. All invoices
will be faxed within 24 hours of the time your order was shipped.
The credit card slip will be displayed on the faxed invoice..

Shipping and Handling?
Our handling charge is $6.50 per box plus the actual UPS shipping
charge. Parish Green, our warehouse manager, is very conscientious
about packing our products as tight as possible, to keep your shipping
charges as low as possible. American Duvet has no minimums, so when
you need that one 11" x 11" pillow to finish the job,
we’re very happy to ship it right out to you.

4.
Acknowledgement of your order?
Within 24 hours of receipt of your order we will fax you an acknowledgment
that your order has been shipped or inform you of items on back
order. If you have faxed your order to us and we have not corresponded
with you within 24 hours, please call us to make sure your order
is not still surfing the airwaves somewhere between your fax machine
and ours.

Returns — our mistake?
If we ship you the wrong product, we’ll immediately ship the
correct one and issue a call tag for the item you didn’t order.
Our entire line consists of quality, first run products. We guarantee
it. If you receive a defective product, we’ll ship a replacement
immediately and issue a call tag for the defective product.

6. Returns — your mistake?
Our clients are on the honor system. We'll take any of our products
back - with no restocking charge -
as long as it comes back to us looking just the same as when we
sent it to you; law tag intact, no evidence of use, in the original
opened or unopened plastic bag. If you ordered a light weight duvet
and your client expected “"mounds of down", or you
ordered the wrong size pillow insert, just let us know what you're
returning. As soon as we receive the product, you’will be
issued a credit for the full amount of the product's cost.

7.
What is fill power?
Fill power refers to the amount of "pouf" there is in
each cluster of down. The higher the fill power, the more loft the
finished product will have. Also, the higher the fill power, the
less ounces it takes to achieve the desired sleeping warmth. Only
down is rated for fill power, feathers are not rated in this manner.

8.
How can down & Feathers be Hypoallergenic?
The down and feathers have been washed twelve times and then electronically cleaned to remove all of the dust and dander. We guarantee the cleanliness of all of our products. For the client who is still skeptical, we have a two page explanation of the process which we will be glad to fax to you. It is in a format that can be shared with your client and contains no company names.

Tips that you might find helpful before ordering
The finished size of the duvet cover should be at least 1” smaller in width and length, than the duvet. You can even put our oversized duvet into a standard sized duvet cover. It will just add additional pouf.
The finished size of the pillow cover
should be smaller than the pillow insert. For the smaller pillow
insert sizes - up to 16” x 16” - the finished cover
should be fabricated up to 1/2” smaller than the insert. For
medium sized inserts - up to 22” x 22” - the finished
cover should be 1” smaller than the insert. For larger sized
inserts, fabricate the covers 1 1/2” to 2 1/2” smaller
than the insert.
Call us with any questions. When a real,
live person answers your call to American Duvet. We've gleaned a
lot of information from designers and workrooms over the years which
could address your specific situation or result in an entirely new
solution to a design problem.
